Position : Mechanical Start-up Engineer

Location : Spartanburg, SC

Employment Type : Contract

Job Description:

Manager needs 3-5 candidates with the below skills to be onsite 5 days a week in SC. Soft skills are key here as these candidates need to work alongside and communicate with several other stakeholders onsite for this effort.

  • Experience with data center mechanical systems and commissioning activities
  • Knowledge of chilled water, HVAC, cooling, and pumping systems
  • Ability to read P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and construction documents
  • Strong troubleshooting and startup experience
  • Willingness to travel and work in fast-paced construction environments
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with project teams and clients
