About the RoleIn this role, you will contribute to infrastructure engineering initiatives of moderate complexity and support large-scale planning efforts. You'll evaluate technical challenges, analyze variable factors, and help drive solutions that align with organizational standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
You will work closely with Infrastructure Engineering teams and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities- Consult on and participate in infrastructure engineering initiatives of moderate complexity.
- Support planning activities for large-scale infrastructure deliverables.
- Review, assess, and troubleshoot infrastructure engineering issues requiring deep analysis across multiple variables.
- Contribute to resolving technical challenges while adhering to established processes, policies, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure successful execution of engineering deliverables.
- Provide subject-matter insights to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions, gained through work experience, consulting, training, education, or military service.
Technical Skills & ExperienceCore Requirements- Proficiency in Java/Spark or Scala/Spark.
- Experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools such as Gradle and Maven.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem and big-data technologies such as Hive, Kafka, S3, and (nice to have) Iceberg.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and UNIX shell scripting.
- Expertise in Spark and SQL, including performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of data modeling and normalization principles.
- Preferably, experience building cloud-native applications and deploying solutions on AWS or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
