We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join our team. This role involves analyzing market problems, defining requirements, and working closely with development teams to deliver customer value. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple features and ensuring work is delivered in a prioritized manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and break down market problems into prioritized, deliverable stories.
- Manage multiple features simultaneously and ensure work is delivered in prioritized order.
- Drive requirements gathering and definition for user stories.
- Work with development teams to deliver stories that add customer value at a regular cadence.
- Participate in all phases of development, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Articulate epics and features, decomposing them into granular user stories for the team.
- Communicate product capabilities and roadmap to internal and external groups.
- Prioritize the product backlog according to business value and return on investment.
- Establish business domain knowledge for the team and represent customer needs.
- Coach and mentor team members.
Required Qualifications
Education: An undergraduate degree is required.
Experience: Previous experience as a product owner or business analyst designing or developing software is necessary. Candidates should possess product owner or product manager skills.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and APIs is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an Application Developer.
- Experience in a regulated industry such as Banking, Financial, or Healthcare.
- Experience leading a team.
- A strong understanding of the capabilities and limitations of programming languages, middleware solutions, application servers, and presentation layer tools is a plus.
