Role Overview
We are seeking an Apache NiFi Platform Support Engineer to provide critical platform support for Apache NiFi in a Cloudera environment. This role focuses on the administration, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and NiFi flows. The position involves supporting development teams with data solution architecture while ensuring the stability and performance of this essential platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide platform support for Apache NiFi within a Cloudera environment.
- Conduct platform administration, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Review data ingestion flows, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for layouts and data movement.
- Support the re-architecting of data solutions while maintaining platform integrity.
- Analyze and resolve platform-level issues in a high-demand production support environment.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, specifically version 1.8.
- Experience in both platform administration and development/engineering aspects of NiFi.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline development and flow creation.
- Ability to focus on platform optimization, performance tuning, and reviewing existing flows.
- Experience with data movement across one or multiple sources, including external systems.
