Mechanical Engineer - Onsite

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer to conceptualize, prototype, and develop innovative mechanical solutions across diverse projects. Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks from concept through production
• Create and execute proof-of-concept prototypes to validate design approaches and mechanical principles
• Perform engineering analysis and testing to ensure designs meet functional requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and human factors engineers in multidisciplinary product development
• Apply manufacturing knowledge to ensure designs are optimized for production processes
• Communicate design concepts and technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program with 1-3 years of professional experience
• Proficient to expert level 3D CAD skills, particularly with SolidWorks
• Background in manufacturing processes for both prototype and production applications
• Hands-on experience designing and building proof-of-concept prototypes
• Solid theoretical mechanical engineering foundation with practical application skills
• Excellent communication abilities with demonstrated skill in presenting technical concepts clearly
• Creative problem-solving approach with attention to both big-picture goals and critical details

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000.
