Day-to-day:

• Energy management system (EMS) production support and asset integration in Hitachi Network Manager
• Maintain relationships with the business, monitoring their Teams, putting out fires for operations teams
• Assisting in EMS backlog activities. Examples;
• Configuring alarms in Hitachi Network Manager
• Display development
• Working on A(automatic generation control)
• Interfacing with internal and external teams including Hitachi vendors, operations and business teams, IT teams (network/server)
• Adherence to all NERCIP guidelines
• Occasional visits to SkyBox (NRG Data Center) ***if local
• Providing progress reports to stakeholders via phone and emails

Must-haves:

• Experience in the energy/utilities industry
• 5+ years of experience in Hitachi Network Manager (NM)
• Must know how to run as an existing software and use to develop on
• Understanding of ERCOT and PJM energy markets (ERCOT- TX, PJM- Northeast market)
• Understanding of EMS systems
• Experience in EMS upgrades and integrations
• Experience reporting on progress clearly to stakeholders and involved parties
• Great communication skills

• Strong tenure working in different energy markets in the US (ERCOT/PJM)
• Pascal experience
• Working experience from Hitachi
