Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full stack Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of a Global Markets UI team seeking a motivated full stack developer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UI development with ReactJS, backend development with Python/Java, and designing real-time analytics pipelines. The position involves collaborating with business and technology teams to drive development initiatives from end to end, improve application quality, and implement target state business processes.
Responsibilities: - Plan, design, develop, test, and execute software releases
- Collaborate with development peers and business partners to understand the book of work and assist with development efforts
- Create effective unit testing coverage for developed code
- Partner with Business and Technology teams to define and implement target state business processes
- Drive complete end-to-end initiatives to implement development solutions
- Identify and improve the quality, capability, and efficiency of the code and application
- Ensure software releases are compliant from an enterprise and regulatory perspective
Requirements: - Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle/Software Testing Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC)
- Experience in full stack development
- Experience building UI stack using React.js, ES6+, websockets, openfin/electron, tailwind, etc
- Experience in development in any object-oriented programming languages (such as Python or Java)
- Proficient in using/building CI/CD tooling using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and CodeBuild
- Exposure to Global Markets in a financial asset class
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated, self-starter, and organized
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
