This is a part-time position with a commitment averaging 20 hours per week. As the technical oversight specialist for our managed service vendor, this role requires flexibility in scheduling to align with critical vendor activities. While we aim to conduct business during standard hours, the nature of vendor oversight and system implementations may require substantial evening or weekend availability during certain project phases. These schedule variations are driven by vendor deliverables, deployment windows, and divisional priorities. All hours, regardless of when they occur, count toward the 20-hour weekly commitment. Candidates must be able to adapt their availability based on project demands and critical system needs throughout the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Governance & Vendor Management
·Serve as agency''s technical authority onSalesforce architectural decisions
·Review and approve all technical designs beforeimplementation
·Conduct code reviews and technical audits ofvendor deliverables
·Evaluate vendor performance against KPIs andSLAs
·Validate vendor estimates and resolve technicaldisputes
Risk Management & Security
•Identify and mitigate technical, security, andcompliance risks
•Ensure solutions meet federal/state securityrequirements
•Review data handling, encryption, and accesscontrol
•Monitor technical debt and enforce remediationplans
Business Partnership & Innovation
•Translate business needs into technicalrequirements

Hands-On Delivery (As Needed)

Required Qualifications
Experience
•8+ years hands-on Salesforce development andarchitecture
•3+ years in senior architect or technical leadroles
•Experience managing external vendors/contractors
•Proven enterprise Salesforce implementations
•Experience with Salesforce implementations ingovernment cloud environments, preferably within the State of Ohio''s technologyinfrastructure
Technical Skills
•Expert proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative development
•Deep understanding of Salesforce security and large data volumes
•Experience with integration patterns, APIs, and platforms such as MuleSoft
•Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Copado and Flosum
Certifications
•Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (required)
•3+ additional Salesforce certifications
•Active maintenance of all certifications

3+ years in senior architect or technical lead roles - 3 YEARS REQUIRED
