Job Description (JD) – Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 13+ years of expertise in business analysis, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business objectives are translated into effective solutions that drive organizational growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Lead requirement elicitation workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, root cause analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, Development Teams, QA Teams, and Business Users.
  • Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Requirement Reviews.
  • Ensure solutions align with business goals, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support digital transformation, ERP, CRM, and enterprise application initiatives.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level business analysts and contribute to best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 13+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, User Stories, Wireframes, and Process Maps.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.
  • PMI-PBA Certification.
  • Experience in Digital Transformation Projects.
  • Experience in Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Manufacturing, or Technology domains.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven business solutions and process automation.
