Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Pennington, NJ; or the Dallas Metro, TX area. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 9+ years of experience in enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based backend development, modern front-end technologies like Angular, system integrations, and CI/CD deployment practices. Experience in financial service environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain existing Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring framework)
- Collaborate with business and other team members to translate requirements into scalable software
- Build and enhance client-facing user interfaces using the Angular tech stack
- Design solutions and build reusable components using design patterns
- Handle application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support
- Adhere to coding standards and contribute to peer code reviews
- Document technical specifications and deployment instructions
Requirements: - 9+ years of experience in enterprise application development
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring framework
- Knowledge of Angular to build user interfaces
- Good knowledge of REST web services
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries
Desired skills: - Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Exposure to the banking domain, specifically treasury or payment systems
- Working knowledge of defect management processes and risk frameworks
- Experience with databases/data warehouses and deriving insights from raw data
- Ability to organize and manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with an onshore/offshore model
Pay range: $45.85 - $53.85 per hour
