Regional IT Operations Manager

 

Role Summary

As the Regional IT Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of IT systems that support daily operations across multiple centers. This role oversees the technical environment that enables diagnostic services, communication, and workflow efficiency.

You will manage regional IT infrastructure, coordinate vendor relationships, resolve escalated technical issues, and support the deployment of IT projects across on?site environments. This position also provides leadership in implementing IT policies, ensuring compliance, and partnering closely with facility leadership to meet technology needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, workstations, telecommunications, and imaging?related systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract oversight, service delivery, invoicing, and budget coordination.
  • Lead incident and crisis response for IT outages or disruptions affecting imaging centers and mobile units.
  • Support on?premises and mobile modality technology, including coordination with biomedical engineers and maintaining DICOM standards and configurations.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects across assigned sites.
  • Build strong relationships with facility and regional leaders to understand IT needs, ensure business continuity, and support.
  • Conduct routine site visits to assess technology environments, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between facilities, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution and service delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Associate degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
  • Minimum 1 year of IT operations experience in a healthcare environment; 2+ years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, telecommunication systems, and end?user environments.
  • Experience supporting clinical or imaging center technologies, including modality integrations and DICOM standards.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, coordinate service delivery, and track budgets or invoices.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, incident response, and coordinating resolutions across technical teams and vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with facility leadership and clinical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple facilities and priorities simultaneously.
