Sr Vulnerability Remediation Engineer

Job description:

*Need someone that is able to understand downstream effect when changes are made

• Need a real strong Systems / Server Engineer
• Must be able to understand Architecture and build an enterprise environment vs. doing single server work
  • Don t want someone that is strictly or only Architecture as they tend to be focused only at a very high level and become less hands-on
• Must be able to work with Hyperisors and VMware ESXi, etc
• Need someone coming from a larger server environment
• Eastern has about 300-500 Servers active on average - currently about 360+ - and that is a good number to have come from for this background
  • Much more than that and the environment tends to get very silo d with Engineers working on smaller pieces of the infrastructure
  • Much less than that and they don t have the depth or complexity needed for the role
• Eastern has 5 domains
• Must be able to understand the structure of Active Directory in a Multi-Domain Enterprise-level environment
• Need to have built out these types of spaces; need to understand how the technology works; need to have used, managed tools, lived in this environment including break/fix, AD Forests, standing up domains; organizing the hierarchy of domains and then applying GPO s
• Need someone that can understand the complexities of the Eastern Bank environment, learn their tools, train on what can be done, when it can be done, and who has to be included, then write remediation plans for approval before they are off and running
