Key Responsibilities: The role involves maintaining a legacy workload automation platform (Tidal), focusing on observability (Datadog, PagerDuty, etc.), and general Windows-based systems administration, including VM management moving to AWS.
The Cloud Operations Analyst is responsible for leading the management, optimization, and automation of cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and business continuity. This role includes driving improvements in observability, server and batch operations, and data center management while proactively identifying and resolving performance and reliability issues. The Cloud Operations Analyst provides technical leadership, mentors team members, and consults with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence through best practices, process enhancements, and cutting-edge technologies.
Cloud Environment: The primary cloud platform is AWS, with Azure as a secondary platform due to M365 integration; Oracle is being de-emphasized and moved to OCI, with future plans for AWS RDS.
Compensation & Contract: Salary range is estimated around $100k-$120k, with a contract-to-hire model (historically 6-9 months) and individual performance-based bonuses and annual raises (around 2-3%).
On-Site Requirement: Individual contributors are required to be on-site two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), plus one Thursday per month.
The preference is for candidates with modern skill sets in cloud, SaaS, and observability, as Tidal can be learned.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
