Job Title: Senior PL/SQL Developer 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with 12+ years of expertise in database development, performance tuning, and enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL programs, ensure database efficiency, and support mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers

• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for large-scale data processing

• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for high-volume databases

• Develop and manage database objects such as tables, indexes, and views

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production environments

• Collaborate with application developers and business teams to understand requirements

• Implement data validation, integrity, and security mechanisms

• Support data migration, data conversion, and ETL processes

• Optimize batch processing and scheduling jobs

• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance

• Mentor junior developers and support team development

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 12+ years of experience in PL/SQL development and database programming

• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL

• Advanced knowledge of SQL (complex joins, subqueries, analytical functions)

• Experience in performance tuning (execution plans, indexing, query optimization)

• Hands-on experience with Oracle database architecture

• Experience with stored procedures, triggers, cursors, and packages

• Knowledge of data modeling and database design

• Experience with bulk data processing and handling large datasets

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, Talend)

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)

• Experience with Oracle tools (SQL*Loader, Data Pump, RMAN)

• Exposure to shell scripting

• Familiarity with cloud databases (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS)

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
