Summary

Summary
As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD, and Inventor software. The ideal candidate will have intermediate-level design experience in industrial or process facility environments and be comfortable working within a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD, and Inventor software to support facility and piping design activities.
  • Create and revise piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), layouts, and design drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and engineering markups to produce accurate design packages.
  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines to integrate design inputs.
  • Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and engineering modifications.
  • Ensure drawings comply with applicable project standards and design requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on completed drawings and design deliverables.
  • Participate in design review meetings and support project schedule milestones.

Requirements
  • High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD in an industrial or process design environment
  • Experience with Inventor or other 3D modeling software
  • Intermediate-level design experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering sketches
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Familiarity with chemical, industrial, manufacturing, or process facility design preferred
  • Experience in the DOE market segments a plus.
  • Client projects for this position require ship.
  • Must have the ability to acquire a security clearance.
