Role Summary
Client is seeking a hands-on Microsoft Entra ID Engineer to support enterprise identity operations, Active Directory modernization, and Microsoft 365 integration.
This is an engineering role, not an IAM governance or program-management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
- Configure Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO
- Support Hybrid Identity and Entra Connect
- Assist with Active Directory migration
- Troubleshoot authentication and synchronization issues
- Support Microsoft 365 and Teams identity integration
- Work with Security Operations and infrastructure teams
- Use PowerShell for administration and automation
Required Experience
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Conditional Access and MFA
- Active Directory and Hybrid Identity
- Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect
- Microsoft 365
- Identity troubleshooting
- Active Directory migration
- PowerShell
Ideal Background
Entra ID Engineer, Identity Engineer, Active Directory Engineer, Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer, or Senior Systems Engineer.
Do Not Submit
Candidates who:
- Cannot work onsite in Evanston every Tuesday and Thursday
- Cannot attend an onsite final interview
- Have not personally configured Entra ID or Conditional Access
- Are primarily IAM governance, architecture, PM, SailPoint, Okta, or CyberArk specialists
- Cannot explain Hybrid Identity or authentication troubleshooting
