Description:

Position: CAD Designer

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 2 year contract to hire

Key Responsibilities

Develop and update sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using CAD software.
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D models to support engineering and design projects.
Interpret and apply customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.
Read and comprehend engineering drawings and blueprints.
Create and maintain documentation to support design drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
Utilize specialized design applications as required by client projects.

Qualifications

8+ years of CAD design experience (Level IV).
Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering concepts, and terminology.
Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software and design applications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
