Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Systems Consultant - Onsite for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This is a results-driven Technical Business Analyst role with a focus on bridging business needs and technology solutions in data-driven and automation-focused environments. The ideal candidate will be experienced in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role supports projects leveraging Python, React, APIs, and modern data platforms to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities: - Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with Python and React development teams to deliver automation and data-driven solutions
- Analyze complex datasets to identify business trends, process improvement opportunities, and automation candidates
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Developers to define data mapping, data transformation rules, and integration requirements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and UAT sessions
- Create and maintain business process models, workflow diagrams, BRDs, FRDs, and technical documentation
- Support API integrations and system interoperability initiatives across multiple applications and platforms
- Validate developed solutions through testing, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment of business objectives and project deliverables
Requirements: - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
- Experience working in data-centric environments involving data analysis, reporting, data migration, and data governance initiatives
- Exposure to software development projects utilizing Python, React, REST APIs, and automation frameworks highly preferred
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and business analysis best practices
- Experience with SQL for data analysis and validation
- Ability to create process flows, requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Desired skills: - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with Python-based automation and workflow solutions
- Experience with React-based web application projects
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration
- Experience with Business Process Automation (BPA) and workflow optimization
- Familiarity with dashboard and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with API analysis, integration, and testing
Pay range: $51.72 - $59.72 per hour
