Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Associate Structural Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:- Perform engineering and design assignments using basic structural engineering principles and fundamental theories learned in a bachelor's program.
- Work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams to complete bridge design tasks and plan development for transportation projects.
- Prepare or assist in preparing: Basic engineering calculations and analyses, Material quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, Field surveys and design layouts
- Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for materials, services, and subcontracts.
- Under guidance of a more senior engineer: Review supplier drawing submittals for technical compliance, Support technical bid evaluations and analyses
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of: Specifications, Data sheets, other construction and engineering documents
- Provide technical input, markups, and coordination guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters working on the same project.
- Support project documentation, engineering records, and quality processes as required.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related discipline).
- Typically 0+ years of related civil/structural or general engineering experience (internships or co-ops a plus).
- Basic knowledge of engineering concepts in civil/structural or related fields.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and common PC software packages used in engineering (e.g., AutoCAD/MicroStation/Revit, MS Office).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- EIT/FE certification in progress or completed (or ability to obtain).

Salary Range: $26.59 - $46.54
