· AWS infrastructure architecture, hands-on migrations, Terraform/CloudFormation, GenAI, client consulting, and delivery leadership.
· Experience with multiple cloud platforms (not just one)- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
· Background in enterprise/B2B environments (understands security constraints, access request delays, sandbox vs. production)

· Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Claude Code agents, or custom)
· Strong communication
What You Will Own
Cloud Infrastructure Architecture
• Lead architecture and technical delivery for core infrastructure work, including migrations, networking, security, and multi account AWS environments
• Make sound, defensible decisions on compute, storage, networking, and IAM design, and be able to explain the reasoning to both the team and the client
• Own infrastructure as code standards (Terraform, CloudFormation) and make sure the team is following them, not improvising
• Balance cost, performance, scalability, and maintainability on every architectural decision, not just what is fastest to ship
AI Architecture and Delivery
• Lead architecture and technical delivery for GenAI and agentic engagements, including LLM based applications, AI agents, and automation workflows
• Guide the team on responsible use of AI tools in delivery, including validating AI generated code and documentation before it goes to a client
• Recommend the right mix of AWS AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker, etc.) and third party platforms like Claude for a given customer use case
• Stay current on the AI and agentic landscape and bring that knowledge back into how we architect solutions
Discovery and Environment Validation
• Own technical discovery on new engagements, including a full audit of existing customer infrastructure and any prior project history before any build work starts
• Ask the right questions in discovery calls to surface team skill gaps early, not after something breaks
• Confirm the team understands what already exists in the customer environment before making changes to it
Technical Review and Sign Off
• Review and approve infrastructure plans (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) via screen share before execution, with particular scrutiny on any destructive or irreversible operations
• Review all design documents, architecture decisions, and customer facing deliverables line by line before they go out
• Require the team to be able to explain and defend every line of any AI generated code or documentation before it is run or sent to a client
• Set the standard that nothing gets executed by a junior team member without SA validation first
Client Consulting and Advisory
• Act as the client's trusted technical advisor, not just an implementer. Clients should come to you with problems before they come to you with tickets
• Lead client meetings and technical presentations directly, including with executive and non technical stakeholders
• Translate technical tradeoffs into business terms so the client can make informed decisions
• Identify opportunities to expand or extend the engagement based on what the client actually needs, and flag those to the account team
• Set and manage client expectations proactively, especially on scope, timeline, and what a POC is versus what a production build requires
Team Leadership and Communication
• Lead and mentor project engineers, including offshore team members, with hands on guidance rather than delegation and hope
• Run regular, structured reviews with the team, walking through what was built and why
• Own the relationship between the internal team and the client, making sure nothing gets to the client that hasn't been vetted
• Partner closely with PMs to flag scope risk, technical risk, and timeline risk as it comes up, not after it becomes a problem
Delivery and Budget Ownership
• Manage technical delivery within the approved budget and scope for the engagement
• Flag scope creep or out of scope requests to the PM immediately
• Own technical risk on the account and escalate early when something is off track
Crisis Management
• Act as the first line of defense when a project hits a technical or customer relationship crisis
• Stay calm, take ownership, and drive toward a fix rather than waiting for direction
What You Bring
• 5+ years of experience as an AWS Solutions Architect
• Deep, hands on AWS experience across compute, networking, storage, security, and IAM. This is a non negotiable. You need to know the fundamentals of building in the cloud cold, not just at a high level
• Real experience running infrastructure migrations end to end, from discovery through cutover
• Strong Terraform or CloudFormation skills. You should be comfortable reading and reviewing a plan line by line, not just approving one based on a summary
• Real experience architecting or delivering GenAI, LLM, or agentic AI solutions, not just familiarity with the concepts
• Experience leading distributed or offshore engineering teams, including reviewing their work directly rather than trusting it by default
• Strong customer facing communication skills. You will lead client meetings directly, including with executives, not just sit in on them
• Consulting experience or instincts. You can read a room, manage a difficult client conversation, and advise rather than just execute
• A track record of catching problems early rather than cleaning them up late
• Comfort saying no or slow down to both junior team members and to customers when something is not ready
• Budget awareness and the judgment to know when a technical decision has a cost or scope impact
