Summary

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an I&C Engineer opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Work Location: Aiken, SC

I&C Engineer-

Duties:

  • Provide support engineering services to include, but not limited to, engineering analysis, walk-downs, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: P&IDs, Control Logics, Loop Diagrams, Instrument Indices; Setpoint Lists, Instrument and Control Valve Specifications, DCS and PLC Design, Instrument Location and Installation Design, Panel Layouts, and Vendor Document Review.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.

Experience/Skills:

  • Five (5) years' design experience in the nuclear or chemical process industry.
  • Must demonstrate design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
  • Must have the ability to walk-down of systems in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2D MicroStation Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).

Other Job Requirements:

  • May have to travel off-site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other Engineering organizations.
