We are seeking an experienced and outstanding AWS / Apache NiFi Administrator for one of our esteemed clients.
Role: AWS / Apache NiFi Administrator
Location: Onsite - Charlotte NC and ST Louis Missouri
Duration : Long term
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Apache NiFi environments.
- Manage and support NiFi clusters across development, testing, and production environments.
- Configure and maintain NiFi Registry for version control and deployment of data flows.
- Monitor NiFi environments and troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and data-flow issues.
- Manage NiFi processors, process groups, controller services, parameter contexts, and data flows.
- Configure back pressure, prioritization, load balancing, and queue management.
- Perform NiFi upgrades, patching, migration, and configuration changes.
- Troubleshoot failed processors, FlowFiles, data queues, and data-ingestion issues.
- Configure NiFi security, including TLS/SSL, certificates, authentication, and authorization.
- Integrate NiFi with LDAP/Active Directory and enterprise authentication systems.
- Manage NiFi users, groups, policies, roles, and access permissions.
- Support integration between NiFi and AWS services such as S3, EC2, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and Kinesis.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Apache NiFi.
- Strong hands-on experience administering Apache NiFi in production environments.
- Experience with NiFi clustering and high-availability environments.
- Strong knowledge of NiFi processors, Process Groups, FlowFiles, Controller Services, and Parameter Contexts.
- Hands-on experience with NiFi Registry.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning experience.
- Experience with NiFi security, TLS/SSL, certificates, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience integrating NiFi with LDAP/Active Directory.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and Kinesis.
