  • Collaborate with enterprise application, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to align DR strategies with broader IT and security objectives.
  • Produce regular status reports, metrics, and executive-ready updates that clearly communicate DR posture, risks, and progress.
  • Ensure DR governance practices are followed, including documentation standards, approvals, and periodic reviews.
  • Work across many different technical platforms, adapting DR strategies to fit diverse technologies and architectures.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and DR strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Operate in a fully remote, office/home-based environment with no driving or field work beyond normal commuting.
Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure, or Business Continuity roles.
  • Strong understanding of DR testing methodologies, recovery planning, and recovery governance frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading DR assessments, workshops, and recovery strategy sessions with application and business owners.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Recovery Plans, Runbooks, Test Plans, and After Action Reports.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications and complex, multi-tier environments.
  • Background collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams on DR and resilience initiatives.
  • Experience with ServiceNow BCM and CMDB preferred, including configuration and use in DR/BCM processes.
  • Familiarity with Azure or other major cloud platforms and their native DR/resiliency capabilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT governance processes and best practices related to continuity, risk, and compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create executive-ready presentations and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret RTO/RPO requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent DR initiatives, testing cycles, and remediation efforts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working remotely and independently while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.
