Job Description

You will be the Reliability Engineer for the PAC 3 Program. Our team is responsible for defining and validating reliability requirements, developing and managing the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), and delivering data driven insights that keep the PAC 3 system performing flawlessly in demanding operational environments.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Reliability Engineer you will be the go to expert for all reliability analyses and assessments on the PAC 3 weapon system. Working side by side with systems, test, and supplier engineers, you'll translate design intent into measurable reliability targets, drive root cause investigations, and shape corrective action strategies that protect mission success.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with cross functional engineers to provide reliability input, perform analyses, and author clear technical reports.
Define achievable design characteristic requirements that meet mission reliability objectives.
Develop, maintain, and operate the program's FRACAS, ensuring accurate data capture and trend analysis.
Review supplier FRACAS submissions and integrate findings into program risk assessments.
Identify FRACAS trends, prioritize failure modes, and lead investigations to implement corrective actions.
Capture and disseminate Lessons Learned from production and field failures.
Participate actively in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
Create and document Reliability Block Diagrams, reliability predictions, and trade study analyses.
Conduct Sneak Circuit analyses and generate associated documentation.
Define testability requirements for system and subsystem levels.
Perform Build In Test (BIT) analysis and document results.
Execute Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and record outcomes.
Support integration testing and CCA level PED qualification testing.
Recommend design, test methods, and statistical process control procedures to achieve required reliability levels.

Basic Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Experience with performing reliability predictions and analyses.
Experience with reliability FRACAS and statistical data mining.
Experience with the FMECA process.
Experience with developing BIT Design Requirements Specification (DRS)
Ability to manage subcontractor in the Reliability field of expertise.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working
relationships.
Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college with 7 years of professional experience

Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding
Experience with RF Systems

Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
