Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 years of professional .NET software engineering experience
Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Technical Skills
Fluency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
Strong backend development fundamentals
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred, strong SQL required)
Hands-on experience building and supporting RESTful APIs
Familiarity with agile development practices
Experience working with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of testing methodologies and production-grade quality practices
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or similar) is a plus
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot) to generate, debug, or optimize code is a plus
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $51.00/hr.
