Our client, a leader in aerospace and defense technology, is seeking a dedicated Embedded Avionics Software Engineer to join their innovative team. As an Embedded Avionics Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical military and surveillance projects.
Job Title: Embedded Avionics Software Engineer
Location:Phoenix, AZ or Redmond, WA
Pay Range: $50 per hour on W2
What\'s the Job?
\t- Develop and maintain embedded avionics software in C/C++ for safety-critical systems \t
- Create and manage requirements using DOORS, ensuring compliance with industry standards \t
- Support software certification artifacts including plans, requirements, and traceability \t
- Conduct code reviews, builds, and configuration management to ensure quality and consistency \t
- Support flight test integration, including interpretation of aircraft wiring and data flows
What\'s Needed?
\t- Extensive experience with DO-178C, embedded software development lifecycle, and safety-critical systems \t
- Proficiency in C/C++, build systems, and compiler configurations \t
- Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, and configuration management tools \t
- Familiarity with certification and documentation environments \t
- Background in military avionics or surveillance systems and exposure to flight test environments
