Position: Java Developer with Python
Location: NYC, NY (Onsite)
Type: Contract
As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial hands-on role in building, enhancing, and operating high-quality software that helps take our product to the next level. We are looking for a polyglot developer who is comfortable working across both Java and Python ecosystems, can move effectively across the stack from database to frontend, and can collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to deliver well-architected solutions. · Contribute as a hands-on software developer within a product engineering squad, delivering reliable features and services across Java and Python-based systems.
· Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and operate software components and services as part of complete software systems.
· Contribute to software builds through consistent development practices, including shared tools, reusable components, and clear documentation.
· Participate in code reviews and automated testing to improve code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
· Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation
· Adhere to security and regulatory standard methodologies

· Collaborate with team members to propose practical improvements, challenge assumptions respectfully, and help raise engineering quality.
· Support team productivity by improving workflows, sharing knowledge, and contributing to faster, more reliable delivery.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required
· 5+ years of software development experience in a professional environment, with strong hands-on coding skills.
· Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and deployment of critical full-stack applications across Java and Python-based services.
· Understand all parts of a modern web-based application stack from Frontend to Backend and Production.
· Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and databases.
· Experience building and maintaining applications using Java, Python, and relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot, FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
