Now Hiring: COBOL Mainframe Developer | Lincoln, Nebraska | Onsite

We are seeking an experienced COBOL Mainframe Developer for a long-term onsite opportunity in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This is a hands-on development position for a candidate with strong coding, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. The selection process will include coding assessments and onsite technical interviews.

Key Requirements:
• Recent hands-on COBOL development experience
• COBOL and CICS development experience — mandatory
• IBM Mainframe / z/OS
• JCL and job scheduling
• DB2 and SQL
• QMF, TSO, and XPEDITER
• Software development lifecycle experience
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Bachelor's/technical degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Ability to work onsite in Lincoln, Nebraska

Preferred Experience:
• Micro Focus COBOL / AppMaster Builder
• Native COBOL
• SQL Server 2012+
• ASP.NET / C#
• Web or Windows Services
• SSRS
• Agile/Scrum
• Mainframe migration, re-hosting, or re-platforming
• Highway inventory systems

Contract: 10/19/2026 – 10/31/2027
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska — Onsite

Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong hands-on coding proficiency, particularly in COBOL and CICS.
