DataDog / AppDynamics Observability-Scottsdale, AZ (2 days onsite mandatory)

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Observability and Monitoring.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DataDog, AppDynamics, and Quantum Metrics.
• Strong expertise in:
  • DataDog and AppDynamics agent deployment, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Native mobile monitoring, Browser RUM, and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Metrics, logs, traces, and APM platforms.
• Experience developing automation solutions using Python and GitOps practices.
• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Ability to partner with application, infrastructure, and engineering teams to gather monitoring requirements and implement effective monitoring, dashboards, and alerting strategies.

Role Breakdown

• 70% Hands-on administration, configuration, automation, and support of DataDog, AppDynamics, and Quantum Metrics.
• 30% SRE-focused work including Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Grafana, and related observability technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using AI-driven automation for alert noise reduction and operational efficiency.
• Exposure to Dynatrace, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), and Grafana.

Candidate Must Have

Strong DataDog expertise
Strong AppDynamics administration experience
Monitoring/Observability SME background
Google Cloud Platform & Kubernetes experience
Python automation skills
Willingness to work onsite in Scottsdale, AZ (2 days/week)
