Summary

Role: Observability Engineer - (DataDog/AppDynamics)
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Contract

We are looking for a DataDog/AppDynamics resource with the following key skills:

5+ years of full-stack observability experience, with strong hands-on expertise in DataDog and AppDynamics
Agent deployment, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting
Native mobile, browser real-user, and synthetic monitoring
Quantum Metrics experience
Automation using GitOps and Python
3+ years of Google Cloud Platform experience with a solid understanding of Kubernetes
Strong experience with APM, metrics, logs, traces, monitoring solutions, and alerting strategies
Exposure to Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Grafana, and Dynatrace preferred
AI-driven automation, noise reduction, and toil reduction experience is a plus
Role split: 70% hands-on administration/automation across DataDog, AppDynamics, and Quantum Metrics; 30% SRE work involving Prometheus, OTel, Grafana, and related tooling.
