Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Muskegon seeking experienced Process Engineers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead process validation activities for new equipment, products, and process changes.
  • Provide technical support and training to production personnel on new processes and equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in statistical process control (SPC).
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, AutoCAD P&ID) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
  • Experience with Process Simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic)
  • Familiarity with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with automation technologies (e.g., robotics, PLC programming)
