Role: Project Manager / Scrum Master - Digital

Location: Dallas, TX

End client: Healthcare client

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead and deliver innovative digital healthcare projects, including touchless check-in systems and other patient-facing technology solutions that enhance the healthcare experience.

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital healthcare projects from initiation through implementation and post-launch support
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
• Manage cross-functional teams including developers, UX designers, clinical stakeholders, and IT infrastructure teams
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality standards and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with vendors, third-party integrators, and internal stakeholders
• Track project metrics, KPIs, and ROI to demonstrate value delivery

Scrum Master Duties

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews)
• Remove impediments and blockers to ensure team productivity
• Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices
• Maintain and prioritize product backlog in collaboration with Product Owner
• Foster continuous improvement culture within development teams
• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies while adapting to organizational needs

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience in digital/technology projects
• 3+ years as a Scrum Master leading Agile development teams
• Experience with healthcare technology implementations strongly preferred
• Proven track record delivering patient-facing digital solutions
• Experience with touchless technology, mobile applications, or self-service platforms

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar EHR platforms)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data security regulations
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project)
• Understanding of API integrations, cloud platforms, and mobile technologies

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong leadership and team facilitation skills
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate complex healthcare environments
• Change management expertise
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
