Trabajando como Distribution Center Help Desk Manager, usted estar a cargo del departamento del Centro de Atencin, cuya responsabilidad principal es responder llamadas relacionadas con rdenes y/o productos. Proporcionar supervisin y liderazgo a un equipo de empleados. Ser responsable del funcionamiento general del departamento, incluyendo metas a corto y largo plazo relacionadas con calidad, productividad y manejo del tiempo. Working as Part-time Distribution Center Help Desk, you will manage the Distribution Center Help Desk department. Responding to help desk calls related to orders and/or products is the primary responsibility of this team. You will provide supervision and leadership to a team of employees. You will be responsible for the overall function of the department including short term and long term goals that pertain to quality, productivity and time management. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Providing leadership, development and supervision of team members o Coordinating employees, including scheduling, hiring and exiting o Ensuring short term and long term goals are met o Training and developing employees o Communicating with employees and branches o Assisting branches with product related questions or issues by phone, email or online support o Retrieving product for walk in customers at our distribution center o Analyzing staffing needs, reports and projections to optimize output and meet department goals o Utilizing data to implement changes and identify areas for improvement o Maintaining the cleanliness/organization of work area o Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations o Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives o Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess at least 1 year of prior leadership or management work experience o Knowledge of computer operations, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Applications o Proficient written and oral communication skills o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Lead and motivate a team of employees o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed o Willingness to travel as needed o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Prior warehouse work experience o Prior administrative or related customer service experience o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
