Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud Software Automation Engineer - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. As a Cloud Software Automation Engineer, you will work with engineering and other teams to define and design automated cloud software solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create automation plans that align with business goals and technology requirements, and then govern the implementation of change to ensure solutions meet design specifications.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for cloud software automation use cases
- Work with stakeholders to design and develop modern and scalable cloud software automation architecture
- Work closely with product managers to define and prioritize features and drive the development of a comprehensive product roadmap
- Oversee the end-to-end product delivery process, ensuring timely and successful implementation of enhancements
- Establish and enforce engineering governance processes for cloud software automations
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency with automation, including the optimization of existing systems and the integration of new technologies
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT leadership, business units, and technology partners, to align automation use cases with organizational objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, tools, and methodologies
Requirements: - Strong understanding of and proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), virtualization technologies, and related services
- Strong software automation knowledge and prior experience using scripting or programming languages
- Experience in software solution design and architecture
- Knowledge of engineering principles related to cloud-based solutions
- Proficiency with Linux, Python, and Ansible
- Able to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week in Chandler, AZ
Desired skills: - Product management experience, especially requirements engineering
- Proven leadership experience in large-scale technology transformations
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
