Remote Data Architecture Strategy Lead (EST)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client who is seeking a Remote Data Architecture Strategy Lead (EST) to evaluate a complex enterprise data environment and establish a strategy for future modernization.

Overview:
This role will partner with senior business and technology leaders across multiple regions to assess existing data capabilities, uncover opportunities for improvement, and develop a scalable approach to architecture, governance, analytics, and AI enablement.

The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise data architecture experience, including expertise with both structured and unstructured information. Success requires the ability to turn technical findings into clear business recommendations and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
* Assess enterprise data environments, platforms, processes, and capabilities
* Review data architecture, governance, quality, lineage, metadata, integration, security, privacy, and compliance practices
* Define a future-state data architecture and long-term modernization roadmap
* Evaluate organizational readiness for AI and advanced analytics initiatives
* Identify ways to leverage structured and unstructured data for analytics, automation, predictive modeling, and AI solutions
* Establish scalable data governance, ownership, stewardship, and decision-making frameworks
* Lead workshops and interviews with business, technology, security, analytics, and compliance stakeholders
* Translate technical assessments into clear recommendations, priorities, risks, and business cases for leadership
* Create executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations
* Recommend implementation phases, investment priorities, and measurable success criteria

REQUIREMENTS:
* 15+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data strategy, or large-scale data transformation initiatives
* Deep experience with enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, data governance, and integration architecture
* Experience evaluating structured and unstructured data for AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics business cases
* Strong understanding of data operating models, governance frameworks, and organizational design
* Experience advising executive leadership on enterprise-wide technology and data strategy
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and non-technical stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
