Title: Senior Network Software Engineer TCP/IP & z/OS
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months

Basic requirements:
Software development experience (minimum 3 years)
Understanding of TCP/IP Layer 3 networking protocols including: IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, TLS, IPSec
Understanding of Layer 3 and Layer 4 network protocols, preferably focused on bridging legacy infrastructure with modern TCP/IP routing

Familiarity with reading and interpreting IETF RFCs and other standards specifications documents
Preferred skills:
Experience developing TCP/IP networking code, especially at the stack level
Experience developing software on z/OS, particularly PL/X
Experience managing traditional VTAM major/minor definitions
Experience auditing and remediation planning for legacy clock wrap vulnerabilities (e.g. 2042 Rollover)
