Network Developer

Basic requirements:

  • Software development experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP Layer 3 networking protocols including: IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, TLS, IPSec
  • Understanding of Layer 3 and Layer 4 network protocols, preferably focused on bridging legacy infrastructure with modern TCP/IP routing
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting IETF RFCs and other standards specifications documents

Preferred skills:

  • Experience developing TCP/IP networking code, especially at the stack level
  • Experience developing software on z/OS, particularly PL/X
  • Experience managing traditional VTAM major/minor definitions
  • Experience auditing and remediation planning for legacy clockwrap vulnerabilities (e.g. 2042 Rollover)
