Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Data Governance Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, metadata management, data lineage, data modeling, API integrations, cloud data platforms, and enterprise information management. Experience supporting data migration and modernization initiatives is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support enterprise data governance and metadata management solutions using Informatica tools.

• Work with Informatica Axon, EDC, IDQ, and IICS.

• Define and maintain data lineage, metadata, business glossary, and governance frameworks.

• Develop and support API integrations and workflow automation.

• Work with business and technical stakeholders to define data governance requirements and standards.

• Support data modeling, data mapping, data quality, and metadata-management activities.

• Assist with legacy-to-modern data migration and transformation initiatives.

• Integrate Informatica solutions with cloud and enterprise data platforms.

• Identify and manage sensitive data, including PII and data-privacy requirements.

• Create process flows, governance documentation, data models, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, business teams, and application stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Informatica Data Governance technologies, including:

  • Informatica Axon

  • Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)

  • Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)

• 2+ years of Informatica Cloud / IICS experience.

• Strong experience with metadata management and data lineage.

• Strong knowledge of data governance and enterprise information management.

• 3+ years of experience with data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage.

• 5+ years of experience with API integrations and workflow automation.

• Strong understanding of RDBMS and enterprise data-management concepts.

• Experience with one or more cloud/data platforms such as:

  • Azure

  • AWS

  • Databricks

  • Snowflake

• Experience with data migration, transformation, and legacy-system modernization projects.

• Understanding of PII, data privacy, data security, and governance standards.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, and SharePoint.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Processing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience working within large enterprise data-governance programs.

• Experience collaborating with data architecture, engineering, business, compliance, and governance teams.
