Schedule: 9/80. 3 days onsite, 2 remote.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join a Land Administration Outside Operated Division Order Team as a Division Order Analyst. This role facilitates the distribution of proceeds from oil and gas sales and the collection of well expenses by determining relative ownership interests through the analysis of title documents and by maintaining and updating ownership records.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor well reports for an assigned geographic area.
- Determine division of interests, calculate ownership, and ensure timely payment.
- Perform deck set-up for non-operated wells and report ownership interests.
- Ensure well set-up processes are effectively integrated between Land Operations, Land Administration, and Accounting.
- Follow contractual and state statutory payment requirements.
- Revise working interests and royalty interests based on deeds, assignments, judgments, and decrees.
- Analyze and interpret leases, division orders, contracts, deeds, title opinions, probate, and assignments.
- Identify and resolve data integrity issues and request documentation to cure title obligations.
- Prepare forms for disbursement of payments, including division orders and transfer orders.
- Communicate with the legal department when necessary and work across discipline boundaries.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferable.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must have knowledge of basic land principles and their application, with the ability to analyze land data for entry into a land data management system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Quorum Land System or SAP experience is a plus.
- General understanding of land terminology, contracts, and their uses.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $65.00/hr - $72.00/hr.
