Role Overview
The System Administrator will be responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems across enterprise environments. This role ensures systems run securely and efficiently with minimal downtime while supporting end users, applications, and business-critical services. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch software applications.
- Windows Server 2019
- Entra ID/ ADFS
- M365
- Monitor system health and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Work with the database team to maintain integrity and performance for Oracle and SQL.
- Provide on-call support for priority production issues and triage real-time incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Database, Development, Network, and Security.
- Document business process flows, system documentation, operating procedures, and configurations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls following security best practices.
- Apply security patches and perform regular security monitoring and backups.
- Support audit activities and ensure systems comply with corporate security and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is required.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a System Administrator role is required.
Technical Skills:- Experience with Windows environments, server administration, and scripting is required.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with financial applications and automation scheduling tools.
- Experience with financial reporting data points.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that this is a contract role and benefits may not be provided.
