The RoleXQ Institute is looking for a
hands-on, people-focused IT Support Specialist to provide
white-glove, walk-up support in a
100% Mac environment. This is a highly visible, onsite role where you'll be supporting employees live as they walk up to the IT bar with questions or issues.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys direct user interaction, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and is comfortable learning and adapting as systems and processes evolve.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide onsite IT support for 150-175 users
- Deliver white-glove, VIP support to end users at a walk-up IT bar
- Troubleshoot Mac hardware, software, printer, and login issues in real time
- Set up new systems and support employee onboarding
- Manage and resolve tickets using Zendesk
- Support both onsite employees and non-technical, remote teacher advisors
- Partner closely with the onsite IT Manager and extended IT teams
- Adapt to a growing environment with limited standardized procedures
What We're Looking ForMust-Haves- White-glove / VIP IT support experience
- Strong experience supporting a 100% Mac / macOS environment
- Comfort troubleshooting issues live and in person
- Excellent communication skills with non-technical users
- Patience, flexibility, and a willingness to learn in a changing environment
Nice-to-Haves- Familiarity with Okta and Zendesk
- Experience with Jamf, Outlook, Slack, Zoom, or Google Workspace

Additional Skills & Qualifications- OS Environment: We primarily operate in a MacBook environment.
- Identity Provider (IdP): We use Okta for identity management.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Jamf is our tool of choice for managing devices.
- Outlook for email, but use google drive and sheets
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): We use Okta Verify for enhanced security.
- Ticketing System: Our support operations run through Zendesk.
- Email: We use Outlook
- Video Conferencing: We use Zoom for meetings and collaboration.
- Internal/External Chat: Slack is our primary communication platform.
- SaaS Applications: We also rely on a variety of other SaaS applications to support our workflow and services.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
