  • Support Cisco Unified Communications environments, including voice gateways, SIP trunks, and Session Border Controllers.
  • Design and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, VLANs, ACLs, IP addressing, routing, switching, and QoS to ensure reliable voice communications.
  • Monitor system health, investigate alerts, resolve complex production issues, and coordinate with vendors when needed.
  • Plan and implement upgrades, security patches, and configuration changes while minimizing service disruption.
  • Develop network documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain highly available communications systems.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide production support for critical systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience supporting enterprise Cisco Voice and Unified Communications environments.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, IP addressing, and network architecture.
  • Experience with Cisco Voice Gateways, Session Border Controllers, and SIP trunk integration.
  • Background in network monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, change management, and performance optimization.
  • Comfortable working in complex enterprise environments with high availability requirements.
  • Ability to create technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical teams and vendors.

Preferred Experience

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
  • Cisco Call Manager and Collaboration technologies
  • Cisco Prime Infrastructure
  • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • IPv6 network design
  • Enterprise voice monitoring and automated operational processes

If you're an experienced Voice or Unified Communications engineer looking for a role where you'll help maintain and improve mission-critical enterprise communications infrastructure, we'd like to hear from you.
