Reliability Engineer | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mason that are seeking skilled Reliability Engineers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recurring issues.
  • Optimize maintenance procedures and recommend design improvements for equipment reliability.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential failure modes.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve asset uptime and reduce costs.
  • Manage and update criticality assessments for manufacturing assets.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for reliability and maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of reliability tools and methodologies (e.g., FMECA, RCA, RCM, Weibull analysis).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions to improve asset reliability.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with FMEAs, RCAs, and other reliability tools.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
  • CMRP certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
