Volt is immediately hiring for a
Remote Project Manager II/III, Product Delivery. As a
Product Manager, you will:
Release Train Engineers (often called Agile Project or Program Managers) typically fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Facilitates Product Delivery Planning days known as PSI Planning
- Facilitates release planning events and release readiness process
- Assists with program execution and PSI feature completion tracking
- Facilitates Scrum of Scrums
- Facilitates the bi-weekly sprint reviews and team demo sessions
- Assists with decision-making by facilitating estimation by teams and rollup to Program level visibility
- Remove impediments, when possible, escalate when necessary
- Encourages team collaboration
- Works with , , and Product Delivery leaders to help assure strategy and execution alignment
- Helps manage risk
- Reports status to Release Management Team
- Provides input on moving team members to address critical bottlenecks
- Drives program-level continuous improvement via Retrospectives and Inspect & Adapt workshops
- Encourages team and program level and Communities of Practice around Scrum, and Agile program management
- Will be the project manager on 1 or more Product Delivery initiatives
- As Program Manager, responsible for coordinating and tracking program activities related to process, scheduling, planning, etc. Will provide program level summary to CSG PD PMO and Governance Steering Committee
This is a
full-time, temp to hire opportunity!
The ideal candidate will have: - 3 to 5 years' experience managing projects
- Scrum Master certification
- College degree or project management certification, PMP not required
- Familiar with Agile software development
- Expert in use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
