Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The Work The Helpdesk Access Manager, Senior is responsible for managing and overseeing the user access provisioning, deprovisioning, and access control processes across enterprise applications and systems. This individual serves as a senior technical resource within the IT Service Desk, guiding helpdesk analysts and ensuring the efficient, secure, and compliant administration of user accounts and permissions. The Helpdesk Access Manager, Senior, collaborates closely with IT security, compliance, and business units to ensure that established access management protocols align with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Lead, direct, and supervise helpdesk staff in daily operations involving user access requests, account creation, termination, modifications, and permissions management for enterprise systems and applications.
- Manage and oversee the implementation and enforcement of user access controls and identity management processes in accordance with corporate and governmental policies, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Perform regular audits of user account and permission records to identify irregularities, ensure compliance, and support incident response activities.
- Serve as subject matter expert and escalation point for complex access management issues and resolutions related to authentication, authorization, and user provisioning.
- Coordinate with IT security and compliance teams to evaluate and update access control policies, workflows, and procedures in line with current technologies and best practices.
- Oversee the timely and secure onboarding and offboarding processes for personnel and contractors, ensuring strict adherence to data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of access protocols, user management procedures, and change control activities to support audits and operational transparency.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to helpdesk staff on access issues, troubleshooting, and customer support improvement initiatives.
- Monitor service desk ticket queues prioritizing access-related issues, and ensure timely resolution and reporting in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead initiatives to improve identity and access management (IAM) practices, including automation of provisioning workflows and implementation of least-privilege principles.
- Support IT initiatives by advising and assisting in the deployment of new enterprise platforms and system migrations as they relate to access control and user management.
- Deliver access management training and awareness sessions to end users and IT personnel to reinforce security protocols and effective use of organizational resources.

- Active To Secret/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph.
- Ability to obtain DoDD 8140.01 certification / IT Level II within 30 calendar days of indoctrination at HQ INSCOM.
- 4 years demonstrated advanced experience with the M3, such as profile management or validating access to system Communities of Interest.
- Demonstrated experience instructing and conducting training for military audiences.
- Demonstrated experience with access management operations, such as PKI Trusted Agent activities or verifying security clearance information in JPAS or Scattered Castles or validating access using need-to-know applications (JEMS, NCTC, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience involving complex security classification procedures/decisions such as coalition/foreign partner support, foreign disclosure, intelligence dissemination, or cross-domain operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of organizational messaging in DoD or IC.
- Experience drafting briefing slides to clearly articulate complex issues and procedures.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Associates degree with 7 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR High School Diploma with 9 years' experience in an intelligence discipline
