Job Description


We are seeking an Engineer-Generative AI Automation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Generative AI, agentic AI systems, and security automation, and a proven ability to design, build, and operationalize autonomous AI agents that reduce security risk and streamline development workflows across the enterprise.


Responsibilities:



  • Build automation tooling to improve security and developer efficiency.

  • Design and develop agentic AI systems that autonomously plan, execute, and adapt tasks across complex workflows.

  • Integrate autonomous agents with enterprise systems, APIs, data sources, and security platforms.

  • Develop and maintain security automation to enhance visibility, enforce best practices, and streamline processes.

  • Automate secure design reviews and embed security checks into pull requests and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to drive adoption of security automation and reduce manual overhead.

  • Conduct research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to inform security posture.

  • Support vulnerability and attack surface management initiatives.

  • Operate as a core member of the Engineering team and advocate for security best practices across the SDLC.

  • Perform proofs of concept for security tooling, zero-day analysis, and emerging risk assessments.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Bash, and familiarity with Go, Rust, or Java.

  • Strong experience with Python and/or Java, including hands-on AI/ML development.

  • Experience with GitHub automation and API integrations.

  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into development workflows.

  • Knowledge of agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom orchestration.

  • Understanding of AI lifecycle management, including model integration, evaluation, and observability.

  • Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

  • Foundation in software engineering principles, including debugging, testing, and system design.

  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices for Generative AI security.

  • Familiarity with database architectures including Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

  • Experience level: 3-5 years in automation and development within CI/CD, 3-5 years of software engineering, 2+ years in cybersecurity, and 2+ years in Generative AI.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with security-focused proofs of concept, zero-day analysis, and emerging risk evaluation.

  • Experience mentoring teams on application security and secure development practices.

  • Knowledge of AI risk management frameworks, trustworthy AI practices, and adversarial robustness techniques and tools.

  • Familiarity with integrating security guidance directly into pull requests and developer workflows.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Data Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.

  • 3-5 years of automation and development experience in CI/CD environments.

  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience.

  • 2 years of cybersecurity experience.

  • 2+ years of Generative AI experience.


Desired Skills & Certifications:



  • Professional certifications such as SANS GIAC, CISSP, or Generative AI certifications.

  • Machine Learning Operations certifications.

  • Master's degree in Cyber Security, Data Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
