Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Product Owner with strong expertise in metadata management, data lineage, and enterprise data governance platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Metadata Hub.

This role requires strong Agile product ownership experience, data governance knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable metadata management solutions.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with:
- Data lineage
- Metadata management
- Enterprise data management solutions
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Experience managing:
- Product backlogs
- User stories
- Sprint planning and prioritization
Familiarity with product management tools such as:
- Jira
- Trello
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations
Experience with Data Governance platforms such as:
- Collibra
- Informatica
- Similar metadata governance tools

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technology teams to define requirements for the EDM Metadata Hub
Participate in product roadmap planning and strategic feature prioritization
Contribute to feature ideation for metadata ingestion, management, and retrieval capabilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities
Act as the liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful product delivery
Validate feature requirements through stakeholder collaboration and feedback sessions
Ensure Metadata Hub components are delivered on schedule and aligned with business goals
Support centralized metadata governance and enterprise data management initiatives

Preferred Skills

Experience with enterprise metadata hub implementations
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices
Exposure to API-driven integrations and enterprise data architecture
