We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with a strong background in large-scale data analysis, SQL, data mapping, and the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. This role is ideal for professionals who can bridge the gap between business and technology by translating complex business requirements into high-quality data solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in SQL, Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM), data transformation, and insurance policy and claims data, while collaborating with business stakeholders, SMEs, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end data analysis including data profiling, validation, transformation, and reconciliation for enterprise data initiatives.
Develop comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents based on business and technical requirements.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while translating them into functional and technical specifications.
Partner with Data Engineers and Developers to implement data consolidation, transformation, and standardization solutions.
Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries to support data validation and business reporting.
Conduct data quality assessments and recommend data cleansing and enrichment strategies.
Apply deep knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance, including policy administration and claims lifecycle, to ensure business data accuracy.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, data modelers, architects, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare clear technical documentation, mapping documents, process flows, and business artifacts.
Support enterprise data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Mapping, and Data Transformation within enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency in SQL including analytical functions, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Proven experience developing Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation.
Strong understanding of ETL processes and enterprise data flows.
Experience with data consolidation, standardization, transformation, and integration across multiple data sources.
In-depth knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including policy administration and claims data.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.
Strong documentation skills with experience creating technical and business deliverables.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and subject matter experts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse or cloud data migration initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Experience working with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and QA teams in large-scale enterprise environments.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks is a plus.
