Job Title: ServiceNow Architect – LSD / Operations

Position Summary
The ServiceNow Architect – LSD/Operations is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing the enterprise ServiceNow platform to support Large Scale Delivery (LSD) and IT Operations functions across ServiceNow. This role provides architectural oversight for ServiceNow implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise IT strategy in a complex healthcare environment.
The Architect will partner with infrastructure, application, security, and service delivery teams to design end-to-end solutions that improve operational efficiency, service reliability, and automation maturity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow architecture strategy aligned with enterprise IT and operations goals
· Lead architectural design for ServiceNow modules supporting IT Operations (ITOM), IT Service Management (ITSM), CMDB, and automation initiatives
· Provide technical leadership for large-scale ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, and platform enhancements
· Design scalable CMDB architecture, data models, and integration frameworks across enterprise systems
· Oversee ServiceNow discovery, event management, and operational monitoring integrations
· Guide development teams on best practices for configuration, scripting, workflows, and platform extensibility
· Evaluate and recommend new ServiceNow capabilities, modules, and third-party integrations
· Ensure platform governance, security, compliance, and adherence to healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA, etc.)
· Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
· Lead technical roadmap planning and capacity planning for ServiceNow platform growth
· Provide architectural reviews for all major ServiceNow projects and changes
· Support incident resolution and performance optimization for critical platform issues
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
· 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture or senior platform engineering roles
· Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and enterprise implementations
· Strong experience with ITOM, ITSM, CMDB, and operational tooling integrations
· Proven experience designing enterprise-scale systems in complex environments
· Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, middleware, and data architecture
· Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare preferred)
· Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
· ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Implementation Specialist
· Experience in healthcare IT environments or large public health systems
· Strong CMDB governance and data integrity experience
· Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, hybrid environments)
· Knowledge of DevOps, SRE practices, and operational automation frameworks
· Experience supporting large enterprise operations teams (LSD / infrastructure
· operations)
