Job Description:
Joining a project already in progress, this role supports the refactor and redeployment of Company’s 32‑year‑old TRIS (Time Reporting Information System). The TRIS Product Owner will help lead technical delivery for the New TRIS modernization program—an enterprise Time Entry application that includes Payroll Administration and Nuclear Regulatory Fatigue Management (NRCFM) through testing, deployment, and hyper-care.
This role provides both business and technical direction across an AWS-based architecture, Angular front end, C#/.NET services, PostgreSQL data design, and Power BI–based reporting modernization, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and supportable. As Product Owner, this individual will serve as a primary point of contact for boundary applications, coordinating changes, upgrades, and cross-system impacts.
The TRIS Product Owner partners closely with enterprise architects, TRIS technical leads, business analysts, project management, and delivery teams to implement a refactored, cloud-based application supporting Company co-workers. This resource will also help define the “best-fit” support model to sustain and enhance the newly modernized application post go-live.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture, Angular, C#/.NET, PostgreSQL (or strong SQL skills), CI/CD pipelines, and Change Management, enabling effective collaboration across design, delivery, and support. Success in this role requires strong experience working across both technical and business teams, balancing priorities and translating needs into actionable outcomes. The Product Owner is accountable for delivering a successful application and support model, while managing backlog, enhancements, and long-term sustainability for this critical Company system.
